KNOCK-KNOCK

So yeah, haven't been posting lately as there have been a lot of goings-on at work which rendered less time for anything else....except badminton, of course. Our company recently acquired an additional P13.0Billion Portfolio and the last few days have been relegated to security and credit folder inventory. Its a totally taxing job which dulls the mental skills. Meetings with existing borrowers for settlement deals were put on hold until after the closing documents of the sale were signed. Watch the Business Section of your Major Daily in the next few days. I learned from Adrian that we have officially bagged another P10.0Billion portfolio making us the number ONE SPV company in the Philippines, with a total portfolio of P35.5Billion!!!

Oh, and we're moving to Taguig, at an address better known as The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, by April 24, 2006. Turns out the business tax in Taguig is cheaper...by how much, I forget. (Note to self - ask Ivy the Tax Rate in Makati and Taguig). Acquisition of this new portfolio will require new warm bodies to help manage the additional accounts and the existing space in Alabang will not be able to accommodate the new plantilla. As it is now, with Bernadette, Adrian, Ivy, Ver , Jennalyn and I occupying the Alabang office, we are "comfortably" cramped. Hehe! Secondly, our existing Borrowers find Alabang just too far for them to come see us so our meetings are always held in Makati.

I will most definitely miss staying in Alabang. Bernadette feels the same way which I found quite queer since she only started with us last March 1 from UCPB Main Office and she lives in Mandaluyong. That's the spell that Alabang weaves around you.

So, aside from work, which comprises about 89.9% of my life, I managed to catch a movie with Sundee Guevara (Just Friends at Rockwell) and Moments of Love with Ton, myself and I (SM Sucat). "Just Friends" was ok, funny parts here and there but I wouldn't watch it again. I find Ryan Reynolds kinda cute, though. "Moments of Love" is a chick flick and I'm not ashamed to say that I cried in the end. Iza Calzado fits the role of a 1957 Dalagang Pilipina and she's very pretty as well.

In between work, badminton and movie watching, I also managed to get a haircut which most people says bagay sa'kin. Its actually the same short style I sported when I was still with EPCIB. Admittedly, short hair feels a lot better nowadays than the long hair that I had as its been getting hot already lately and I don't get to fix it naman.

Ok, will end this for now. Pitchet is sitting in front of the electric fan here in the sala with me. I spoil him too much. He's starting to look like Garfield as he's getting quite tubby. I love my cat to pieces!!
