I'm basicaly the Romantic type. On a bitchy working day like today where my responses to queries were either aloof or short of being snappily curt, i draw on some lines from my favorite romantic movies to make me feel better.
Here's one from You've Got Mail starring Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. Scene is in a restaurant where Greg Kinnear and Meg Ryan were breaking up:
Frank: What about you, is there someone else?
Kathleen: No. No, but there's the dream of someone else.
Kathleen: No. No, but there's the dream of someone else.
Here's another one from the 1995 Version of Sabrina starring Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond. Scene is inside the chauffered-driven car where Harrison Ford was on his way to the Concourse headed to Paris to run after Julia Ormond:
Linus: Go ahead, say it.
Chauffer (Sabrina's dad) : You don't...deserve her.
Linus: I don't. I know that. But I need her...and I don't need anything.
Chauffer (Sabrina's dad) : You don't...deserve her.
Linus: I don't. I know that. But I need her...and I don't need anything.
Aaaawwwww. I want to throw this plea into the Black Void. Where are you, my Prague Prince??? Find me soooon!!!
Here's the midi and lyrics of La Vie en Rose from the Sabrina movie. When I get to Paris, I will strain to hear this song being played.
Hold me close and hold me fast
the magic spell you cast
this is la vie en rose.
When you kiss me heaven sighs
and though I close my eyes
I see la vie en rose.
When you press me to your heart
I'm in a world apart
a world were roses bloom
And when you speak...angels sing from above
Everyday words seem...to turn into love songs.
Give your heart and soul to me
And life will always be
La Vie en Rose
