Lighthouses have always been associated with either romance or suspense. When I was growing up and discovering the joys of reading, lighthouses are places where you either find two people in the throes of passion or a place where one gets murdered and the body thrown at the cliff below. This is one of two lighthouses found in Batan Island, Batanes.
