The first paragraph will be mushy so please indulge me. Just need to blow the whole thing for the last time. Its been 5 days without communication from "He Who Must Not Be Named". I gave "HE" a final piece of my mind in a very soft and factual voice and left it at that. Its true that letting go of someone is harder than holding on, but oh boy, memories of what you've done together and places you've been to really made me "soul-sad". How can a soul be sad, huh? I don't know. That's how I've been feeling since Monday before the goodbye. I go home taking the Fort Bonifacio route and if you'd been the person coming from the opposite lane along that watchamacallit road at The Fort, you'd probably tell yourself," Hey, that girl outta pull over before she hits someone". Yup, I felt like I was Gretel in "Hansel and Gretel" but instead of pieces of bread, I was dropping tears on the road. But the world continues to turn and life goes on. I've stopped crying but my soul-sadness will still stay a little while longer. So, how did I spend my Saturday? Doing the things I love most. I played Badminton from 9-12noon with Team Integrity then went to URBAN SPA at Shangrila Mall. Now, that's pampering myself!!! I was treated to a Spa experience called As in Heaven. It started with a hair spa, then a body scrub using dead sea salts, a milk bath (guys, my eyes closed and I let out a sigh as I sank into the very warm tub filled with milk scents), got my body moisturized with honey, then a massage then a facial. I tell you, I went in at 2pm and left at 6pm. I felt like a million dollars (hindi puede Peso, ang baba ng value, hehe!).Tomorrow's Sunday, a day dedicated to the Lord. Let us never forget to thank Him always for the Blessings we continue to receive. His Blessings abound. We just take them for granted.
I just finished watching Queer Eye for the Straight Guy before heading up to the computer to post this. My next post will be more socially relevant, I promise. By the way, there was an earthquake last night that occured at around 10:30pm. Two earthquakes in a span of 2 weeks. That's not good. Something definitely is going on down there. Are we going to experience another volcanic eruption, maybe? We have to be pay attention to Mother Earth's rumblings or else we'll end up getting caught flat-footed like what happened with Mt. Pinatubo.
